In the morning, a common habit is going straight to the restroom. This is the normal activity for most people in the world who go out with a feeling of lightness. Unfortunately, this is not always the case.

Constipation is a common problem among women and even men all over the world. Constipation means hard or irregular bowel movements. The reasons may differ and depend on your health, lifestyle and diet. Such a problem may be a result of deficient consumption of dietary fiber or deficient fluid consumption or little physical activity or as a side effect of a medication.

Although constipation is an ordeal for many people, it has many solutions. The most common cause of constipation is a low amount of dietary fiber, so the first step in the fight against constipation is to eat more foods rich in fiber. Fiber belongs to the type of carbohydrates that people can not digest, but can use to clean the colon. The typical daily amount of fiber for adult women is 25 grams, while the amount for men is 40 grams per day. Regular consumption of fibers makes the colon and intestine healthy and ready for normal bowel movements. If you suffer from consumption you should include in your diet apples, blueberries and bananas.

Besides the consumption of fiber it is advisable to drink plenty of water. Water is necessary to cleanse and moisturize the body. Consequently, people should drink eight to ten glasses per day.

Apart from increasing the amount of fiber and water, regular exercise also helps constipation. The most common exercise is walking and a simple five-ten minute walk every day would be perfect.

Constipation is indeed a serious problem for those who suffer, but the fight against it is real deal. Your first step is increasing fiber consumption, the second is drinking a lot of water, and the third is exercising.
