Foods with elevated levels of sugar, fat, and processed ingredients may lower the IQ of young children, a study published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health has found. The study, which was conducted by scientists from Canada and the United Kingdom, noted that little is known about the effects of dietary habits on intelligence in childhood and later in life.
